I'm soooooooooooooo behind on posting pictures!!! Time has just flown by! Jocelyn is now 16 months old and busier than ever. I know I say that every month, but this time I MEAN IT! She will start going to "school" next week...just twice a week...which is really called children's day out. Call it what you want, but I call it FUN FOR ALL!! She is very ready for this new adventure and I think I am too. :) We'll see!

Uncle Booby thoroughly enjoyed spraying Jocelyn with the hose....and Jocelyn thoroughly enjoyed running around in a soaking wet diaper for the whole golf course to see!

You laugh, but this floatie saved MY life! Jocelyn knows that she can walk, so whether she's in the living room or 2 feet of water, she wants to walk all by herself. This has made for incredibly tiresome outings at the pool because she "takes off walking" in the water and constantly goes under! And laughs! So a friend (Miss Adrienne, from previous posts) loaned us this flotation device today.....THANK YOU ADRIENNE!!!!! Everyone was happy!

"I found Mommy's copy of Baby Sign Language for Dummies....and I LOVE to carry it around the house! It even fits in my Fancy Nancy purse. :) I've actually only learned one bit of sign language and that's 'more'.....I can ask for 'MORE' anything now in sign language! What MORE do I need to learn???"

We're going WHERE?!??!?!

"We're going to Polly and Poppa's house??? YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Polly flew to Lubbock just in time to dodge the rain in Corpus from Hurricane Alex, and then drove with Jocelyn and I back to Corpus. THANKS POLLY!! It took us nine and a half hours and Jocelyn was EXCELLENT the whole way! (Polly was a different story......) We stayed for 10 days, and Jay joined us for the last half of the vacation. We swam, went to Nana and Papa's house, got a hundred mosquito bites, went to the beach, got some more mosquito bites, then headed back to Lubbock, where it had rained 9 inches while we were gone. So now that we're home, we've gotten some MORE mosquito bites.......

I ate all my lunch....see below about enchiladas! I played Hide and Seek, I walked and talked, I read books. But all Mommy captured was me getting tired!"

Swimming with Polly

Oh Happy Day!

Once again, it has been a LONG time since Mommy has updated this site.....and she didn't even bother to put these pictures in order, so I'll just let you know they are mostly from the month of June. I have been very busy...Polly and Poppa came to stay with us the first week of June. Mommy and Daddy told me that it's a baby sister that's arriving in October. I've been swimming, walking, learning to climb onto the sofa, and I wrapped up the month celebrating my best friend Mae's birthday . She likes cake, as you'll see.
I'm off to Corpus next week to visit my peoples there, so I'll be sure that Mommy gets more pictures on here promptly!

Father's Day art project

Oh I am sooooooooo excited! We are at Clay Cafe and we are PAINTING!! Yahoo!!! I'm making Daddy a plate for the yummy burgers he makes! This is about to get messy!

Oh what fun!!! Maybe Mommy will buy us some of this paint to use at home!
