4 Months! sniff, sniff!

Where did 4 months go? Weren't we JUST bringing her home from the hospital? Weren't we JUST trying to figure out the carseat? Weren't we JUST thinking "I wonder when she'll sleep through the night?"

Yep, we WERE just bringing her home, and we WERE just baffled by the carseat, and now we are thoroughly enjoying the nights she does sleep till the rooster crows.

Jocelyn has been such a peaceful, happy, content baby...she now loves baths, she loves the stroller, she loves church, she loves dresses, she loves to "talk", and she loves birds. Okay, I made the last one up----her MOMMY loves birds...she hasn't actually SEEN a bird yet, but I know when she does, she too will love them. And I'm not talking about those nasty ones that hang out in the WalMart parking lots....I'm referring to toucans, parrots, cardinals, blue jays, mocking birds, and the like.

There is still only one thing on her list that she DOESN'T prefer, and that's tummy time. That's okay....I'll have her rolling over by the time she goes to kindergarden, I PROMISE!

A rarity

Two things are rare in this picture and one is not........One, a real smile----FOR the camera! YAY! Two, a headband! The common occurence is that clenched fist. Never a moment when she doesn't clench that fist. :)

Hey there, Toes!

Toes! Oh I'm so glad you're still there! I was worried about you!

Huh???

What?!?!? This has to be ironed??? Oh NO! We do NOT like to iron!

Hecho in Italy (that's "Made in Italy" in Spanish!)

Polly and Poppa brought me this frock all the way from Italy! I'm inspecting it for drooling durability. (it passed!) And now I'm on to looking at those toes.....how funny they are when they move! Neat!

My Mama

Here's my mama and I....she's the tummy time enforcer. Everyone else caves when I cry and saves me, but Mommy just keeps on leaning over in my ear saying "You can do it, Jocelyn! What a good girl!" Blech! No fun! (but I'm getting stronger I think!)

Miss Polly comes to town

Polly can't get enough of me! She and Poppa were SUPPOSED to "share" and "take turns" with me.....and for the most part they did! (I think they actually were tied on the diaper changing duty!)

Another Option

When you have such crazy hair, you have many options when styling it.....this was a 'do I put together by myself when I was flailing my arms about....

He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not...

Poppa thought this headband was real funny....I giggled a lot too, but mostly drooled.

Work, Work, Work.....All in a Day's Work

I have grown accustomed to supervising Daddy while he works....just in case he tries to get off task by going to baby websites to find fun clothes for me! wink, wink!

This is NOT a wig!

Nope, this is not a wig. It really isn't. It's my very own hair! And when I get out of the tub (which I enjoy very much now, by the way) it is WILD!
