So I bet you're wondering who those two kids are...that happen to resemble Jay quite a bit....well.....they're OURS! Yep, I bet you'd given up on HOUSEhold 19, hadn't ya? I almost did! But my goal is just a few posts a month.....I seem to be more cut out for "marathons" as opposed to "sprints"....if I get an hour, I'll update you on the whole month! ha ha!Don't worry...I'll back pedal a little and post some pictures of Harper from her first days, her first Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, Easter,.....oh my gosh....I'm so behind. :(
But here they are last month (Harper at 5 months, Jocelyn rounding the home stretch to the big number 2)
It has been a wild 6 1/2 months to say the least. Harper is such a joyful addition to our family! She is sitting up, eating solid food, TAKING A BOTTLE finally, (it's probably a good thing I haven't posted in 6 months....it would've just said "Harper still won't take a bottle. Thank you, and good night." ) Jocelyn loves her little sister just like I love MY little sister and is very helpful on most days. There have been days, of course, when I wondered what in the world I got myself into. And then I quickly come back to Earth, because there is always a diaper to be changed, and realize I wouldn't trade it for the world.
As I type, Jocelyn is rearranging things on Jay's desk, and trying to type on the keyboard with me.....Harper is just waking up from a little cat nap, and I am called to duty.
I promise to post more pictures soon.....baby steps! I'm guessing by the time I get around to another computer session, I will have some pictures of my nephew WILLIAM MAXSON CLARK! (Lil Will). He could arrive any day now, and I am thrilled beyond measure about this!
xoxo
